Winner: Elena Sorre for her project “Green Rush: Alaska” (New York, NY) One winner, selected by HISTORY, was awarded the opportunity to produce a pilot presentation with a minimum $25,000 budget in conjunction with NYTVF Productions. HISTORY development executives selected five finalists, each of whom received notes on their projects, a $2,500 prize, and an additional $1,500 to shoot a short presentation further exploring their subject. History and the NYTVF teamed up again for an innovative program seeking original unscripted television tape and treatments from independent artists and production companies. Official Artists receive free accreditation for the annual Festival (held in Manhattan) where they will enjoy exclusive access to NYTVF Connect. If a project you create is named an Official Selection, you are invited to participate in the Festival as an Official Artist. The Resources Page gives you access to NYTVF partners offering free and reduced-priced access to their libraries of production and post-production materials. The NYTVF wants you to create the best content you can, with as many resources at your fingertips as possible.
